An exceptional chandelier by the world-renowned Finnish lighting designer and master craftsman Paavo Tynell, this Model 9062 is a true statement piece of Tynell's designs. Crafted entirely from perforated and polished brass, it features eight perforated shades arranged on a large floating ring, suspended by four arms from the center. Despite its weight, the design maintains a sense of lightness, a signature of Tynell's masterful craftsmanship.

Each shade extends through the ring with spring-like decorations, Tynell’s iconic style, complementing the intricate perforations. This chandelier is one of the few designs capable of competing with Tynell's snowflake lamps. Model 9062's presence is evident in historic photographs, including one taken on the opening day of the Finland House Store in New York, where it was prominently displayed alongside two snowflake lamps and other lighting design pieces.

Model 9062 was also featured in advertisements and brochures, further cementing its significance. It was produced in very limited numbers in two versions: a smaller model with six shades and this larger, rare eight-shade edition. Both variations are extremely scarce and seldom appear on the market.

The chandelier’s main frame measures 75 cm in width, while its full span from edge to edge extends to 105 cm.
