Art Deco Paavo Tynell Pendant 1255 in Brass, Birch & Opaline Glass

A beautiful and rare example of Paavo Tynell 1930s lamps. A marvelous piece with dark stained birch, polished and oxidized brass with blown glass shades. The lamp is in its original condition. The blown glass shades are light beige with a hint of pistachio green, and are astonishingly beautiful and delicate, especially with the lights on. The rod is wrapped with string as was often the case in the 1930s models. The lamp is stamped Oy Taito Ab.
