Mid-Century Modern Finnish Design Lamp in Brass and Hand Painted Glass

A 1950s Finnish design ceiling lamp with five light sources. This lamp has some similarities to Paavo Tynell lighting fixtures, but as not everyone could afford Tynells, even back then, these came to cover the high demand on such lights. The lamp is stamped St which was the Stockmann lamps wholesalers stamp. The iconic Stockmann department store in Helsinki sold all lamp manufacturers’ lamps back then including Orno, Taito, Idman, Itsu and so on.
