Art Deco / Bauhaus Round Wooden Table with Tubular Steel legs, Circa 1930s

2100,00

A beautiful Functinalist Art Deco coffee / side table featuring two wooden tops with tubular chromed steel legs. The materials blend together with charm and sophistication showcasing the charactaristics of the early 20th century functionalist bauhaus school. The table is in good original condition without any damages. It is difficult to say who was behind this beautiful design. Eventhough it is in the style of Robert Slezák, it might well be a Finnish one by any of the many prominent functional designers like architect Pauli Blomstedt, Arttu Brummer or Runar Engblom, all of who designed such classical furniture items and incorporated metal and wood in their designs. Regardless of the designer, the table is certainly a beauty and definitely designed for a luxurious interior of the period.
