Lisa Johansson-Papé Colombo Table Lamp 44-406 in Two Colored Acrylic, Orno 1960s

2520,00

A rare Lisa Johansson-Papé Colombo table lamp model 44-406. The lamp has an interesting all acrylic leg in two colours, black and burgundy paired with a white pleated shade. The lamp is quite rare and doesn’t appear often on the market.

Because of the acrylic twist, the lamp not only suits Mid-Century homes but also post modern interiors that mix also contemporary art and design. A timeless piece.

Stamped St (Stockmann) on the inside.

Lisa Johansson-Papé (1907–1989) was a Finnish designer best known for her lighting designs. She approached lamp design primarily through function, allowing form to follow the needs of the light itself. After designing furniture for Stockmann for a number of years, she turned her attention to lighting, working with the Stockmann-owned company Orno Oy. Her lamps received international recognition, including several medals at the Milan Triennials during the 1950s
