Art Deco Paavo Tynell Sizable Flushmount Model 1621, Beige Glass, Taito

An elegant minimalist art deco ceiling lamp by Paavo Tynell and manufactured by Taito from the 1930s. This lamp, along with other lamps on our listings, came from the Ilveslinna building in Jämsänkoski and were all commissioned by Paavo Tynell. The lamp features a nickled brass body with a sizable rimmed opaline glass shade covering two lamp bulbs inside. See photo with bridal bouquet lamp for size comparison. The lamp is in its original condition except for the changed electric wirings. At the moment we have another similar lamp that came from the same place so please inquire if you are looking for a pair. (See photo). According to the catalogues, this model came in two sizes, this is the larger one with a diameter around 50cm.
