Aino Aalto Sliding Door Cabinet Model 217, in Birch and Teak, Artek

Aino Aalto cabinet model 217, manufactured by Oy Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab in the 1950s. The outer part is birch and the doors are teak, which the Aaltos did every now and then with their furnitures. The cabinet is in great condition with a nice patina and only minor insignificant scratches here and there. This functional yet stylish cabinet fits into any interior with it’s simple design. It can be used as a sidetable, bedroom/living room cabinet, or it can be paired with a desktop and used in an office.
