This lamp is a legendary Alvar Aalto design and one of his finest creations. It was first designed in 1954 for the Social Insurance Institution of Finland. The name of course comes from the shape of the shade which is asymmetrical and looks like an Angel´s wing. The lamp is stamped and in very good condition.
