Alvar Aalto Dining Table with Lazy Susan B91 and 6 Chairs Model 66, Artek, 1940s

This dining set is in beautiful condition. The table without the serving board “Lazy Susan” is model A 91 ( with the serving board B 91 ), and the chairs are model no. 66 with the high back. The legs of the table can be easily dismanteled for logistics or storage. The chairs as well. At Artek these small details and characteristics were thought of intentionally as a lot of the furniture was intended for overseas markets. The round serving board or plate is also completely detachable from the table and can be even excluded all together if one so chooses.

Both the table and chairs are made of fine Finnish birch. They have been refinished professionally and are now in good condition. May we add also that the first things that one sees in this elegant dining set is the incredible simplicity and functionality that Finnish design is so world famous for.

We can pack and ship this set in 2 or 3 different boxes. One or 2 for the chairs and the other for the tables.
