Attr. Mauri Almari Ceiling Pendant, Model 82500, Idman

23800,00

Mid-Century Modern Brass Ceiling Pendant by Idman, Model No. 82500 (1950s). A striking and generously sized ceiling pendant from Finnish lighting manufacturer Idman, this model (No. 82500) dates to the 1950s and is often attributed to Paavo Tynell. Althought the design might reflect his style, the model number points to designs by Gunnel Nyman or Mauri Almari. Regardless of its designer, the lamp is a stunning example of Finnish mid-century design, characterized by clean, minimal lines and a timeless brass construction.

The shade features a subtle row of slat perforations along the lower edge, allowing light to diffuse softly while adding a delicate textural detail. Its substantial scale makes it ideal for larger spaces—living rooms, entryways, or dining areas—where its understated elegance can shine.

The lamp has been carefully restored, with polished brass and updated wiring for modern use. The interior is stamped with the Idman manufacturer’s mark. Though this model appeared in period catalogs, it remains a rare find today.
