Finnish Art Deco Low Chest of Drawers in Birch, 1930s

A beautiful Finnish low chest of drawers from the 1930s, crafted in birch with contrasting dark stained birch details. Its elongated proportions, softly rounded front corners, and stepped top give the piece a restrained Art Deco character, while the richly figured drawer fronts bring warmth and natural variation to the clean design.

Four drawers, arranged in two rows, feature long, dark wooden handles that emphasise the horizontal lines. Short, dark tapered feet provide a complementary contrast to the golden tones of the cabinet, giving it a balanced and elegant presence.

The low profile makes this a versatile storage piece for a living room, bedroom, or entrance hall. Its broad top provides an attractive surface for displaying a table lamp, ceramics, or artwork beneath a wall mirror.
