Finnish Geometrical Flat-Weave Carpet in Natural Tones, Wool, Finland 1930s

5560,00

A beautiful functionalist period Finnish flat weave carpet. Hand made in the 1930s with great resemblance to or possibly by the renowned Finnish textile artist Greta Skogster-Lehtinen.

The rug is sizable at 250×300 and is in good condition considering the age. There are small wear spots, but nothing major or noticable. The geometrical motifs are typical of the functionalist period and were widely used by carpet designers. The rug has natural earthy tones that are neutral and can easily fit different interiors.
