Finnish Mid-Century Modern Pendant Model 62-004/3, Stockmann Tukku 1950s

1980,00

A Finnish mid-century modern ceiling pendant, model 62-004/3 from the Stockmann catalogue, featuring a graceful brass body and three beautifully shaped and hand painted glass shades. The shades have a soft creamy colour and pinkish hand painted leaf decorations that diffuses the light gently, giving the fixture a warm and atmospheric glow. Resembling flower buds, they add elegance without excess, fitting seamlessly into the quiet sophistication typical of Finnish lighting from the 1950s and 1960s.

At the center of the lamp, a crackled glass rod adds sparkle to the fixture and sits above a brass hub with perforations and a spring wire decoration. Above the crackled glass and set of three crystals hang above the shades and add yet an extra touch of elegance.

This pendant offers three light sources, providing both functional illumination and a soft ambient presence. It is a versatile and timeless piece, well suited for dining areas, living spaces, or any interior that benefits from a refined yet characterful mid-century touch. A charming example of the quality and quiet elegance found in Finnish lighting design of the era.
