This UFO like shaped lamp was quite popular in Finland in the 1950s, and still is. today. It is found in public buildings as in private residences. This lamp is stamped twice, on the inside and on the outer shade, for 100% authenticity.

Lisa Johansson-Pape(1907-1989) was a Finnish designer best known for her works in lightings. she paid more attention to the function of the lamp firstly, then the design feature secondly. Lisa designed furniture for Stockmann for a number of years, after which she turned her attention to lamps, also at the Stockmann owned company Orno Oy. She won a number of medals for her lighting designs in the Milan Triennials in the 1950s.
