A lovely art deco side table by Maija Heikinheimo produced by Asko in the 1930s. In the original drawings the table is called “Apu”, a Finish word meaning help. The model no. is 604. The table is light and can be easily moved around. It has a middle shelf in addition to the bottom level that can also be used to keep items on. A brilliant simple design. This particular piece is in dark stained birch and is stamped Asko to the bottom.
