A 1950s Finnish design ceiling lamp with five light sources and leaf decorations. This lamp has some similarities to Paavo Tynell lighting fixtures, but as not everyone could afford Tynells, even back then, these came to cover the high demand on such lights. The lamp is stamped St which was the Stockmann lamps wholesalers stamp. The iconic Stockmann department store in Helsinki sold all lamp manufacturers’ lamps back then including Orno, Taito, Idman, Itsu and so on.
This lamp is in good vintage condition. The wiring has been changed at some point. The shades and stem are in good vintage condition. The lamp retains all original parts including the brass leaf decorations that were typical in the 1950s.
