Mid-Century Itsu Ceiling Lamp Model ER 110/3 in Brass & Glass, Finland 1950s

A delicate Finnish mid-century ceiling lamp model 110 by Itsu, one of Finland’s foremost lighting manufacturers. The design is obviously inspired by the iconic Paavo Tynell style with the brass wire decorations. The lamp features a central brass base with brass wire spring decorations and three arms with also spring coils holding glass shades in beige or champagne colour. The lamp is stamped with the manufacturer’s mark, “Itsu,” and remains in an overall good vintage condition.

Itsu was a distinguished lighting company and a subsidiary of Idman, playing a pivotal role in shaping Finnish design alongside firms like Taito Oy and Orno. Renowned for their high-quality craftsmanship, Itsu supplied lighting for significant projects, including collaborations with Alvar Aalto, such as the Aalto University.
