Mid-Century Itsu Ceiling Lamp Model ER 79 with Daisy Flowers, Finland 1950s

A beautiful and delicate Finnish mid-century ceiling lamp model ER 79/4 by Itsu, one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Finland.
The lamp is in its absolute original condition with original opaline glass shades and flower decorations. Please note that this and other models could be purchased with fabric, rattan or glass shades. The lamp has four up-light spots that give a lot of light to reflect off the ceiling and at the same time light up the central flower bouquet decoration. A real beauty!

Itsu was one of the leading light manufacturing companies and a daughter company of Idman. Along with companies like Taito Oy, Idman and Orno they defined what Finnish design lamps would become. It made high quality lamps and produced lamps for major projects, including some of Alvar Aalto’s projects like the Aalto University.
