Mid-Century Itsu Pendant Model ER 94/3 in Brass & Pearl White, Finland 1950s

A beautiful mid-century modern ceiling lamp model ER 94/3 by Itsu, one of Finland’s foremost lighting manufacturers. The design presents three slot-perforated metal shades in a natural white finish, suspended at varying heights from a central brass canopy with three arms. This lamp is a perfect choice for illuminating a dining or kitchen table, as well as countertops. It also makes a striking statement in a room corner or a space with high ceilings. As the lamp’s height is determined by its wire cords, it can be easily adjusted to suit your needs. The lamp is stamped with the manufacturer’s mark, “Itsu.”

It has been fully restored with all new electrical wiring and the shades have been professionally repainted in their original color. The brass parts were left untouched to preserve their beautiful vintage patina.

Itsu was a distinguished lighting company and a subsidiary of Idman, playing a pivotal role in shaping Finnish design alongside firms like Taito Oy and Orno. Renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, Itsu supplied lighting for significant projects, including collaborations with Alvar Aalto for venues such as the Aalto University.
