Mid-Century Pendant in Brass, String, & Parchment Shades, PSO Finland 1940s

A classical style PSO pendant model 451035 in brass, string and parchment paper. A beautiful lamp with the brass patinated, and the rod that has a string wrap, as was typical with the lamps of the period. The lamp is in its original condition with original parchment shades that are astonishingly beautiful and delicate, especially with the lights on. The lamp is stamped PSO which is Pohjoismainen Sähkö Oy (Nordic Electric Company). A Finnish company established in 1918 that produced high quality lamp fixtures well into the second half of the 20th century.
