Paavo Tynell Minimalist Flush Mounts in Opaline Glass, Taito 1940s

An elegant minimalist Paavo Tynell ceiling lamp manufactured by Taito in Finland in the 1940s. This very minimal design fits easily into any interior. As with a lot of Scandinavian design the beauty of this design stems from the simplicity. Nothing extra, only what is necessary, and once again, less is more.

The fixture is in good restored condition. The metal base has been repainted and the electric cord has been updated. The glass has small surface marks consistent with age and use. The base is stamped Taito.
