Paavo Tynell Table Lamp Model 5066, Perforated Brass, Rattan & Wood, Taito 1950s

This table lamp, model no. 5066 by Paavo Tynell for Taito Oy from the 1950s is a classic. It has a brass round stand, a hard wooden leg and a beautiful clean lined light mahogany colour rattan shade. The square brass shade top has a fibonacci sequence perforation and the light filter feature is visually heavenly. The golden ratio at it’s best. The electricity parts and wiring and plug are original. Signs of normal wear and use and fine shine of patina on the surface.
