Pair Of Ilmari Lappalainen Laila Armchairs Upholstered in White, Asko 1950s

A pair of elegant armchairs designed by Ilmari Lappalainen and manufactured by Asko Oy in Finland in the 1950s. Apart from the reupholstery the chair bodies are in original and very good condition.

The chairs are compact in size compared to other sizable Finnish armchairs, and are extremely comfortable to sit in. They can be put in living rooms, bedrooms, or even balconies since they don’t take much space and can be easily moved single handedly.
