Pair of Paavo Tynell ‘Umbrella’ Table Lamps 5061, Brass & Glass, Taito 1940s

A beautiful pair of Paavo Tynell lamps that rarely come as a pair from the same place. These model 5061 from 1940s’ are in beautiful original condition and only slightly polished.

The shade of this well designed majestic table lamp consists of two pieces: a large mouth blown champagne yellow glass underlay with a top coat in brass. This “Umbrella” shade is in delicate harmony with a central brass stem and foot.

A timeless table lamp and one of the classics that is suitable for desktops at offices or living rooms alike. They are easy to integrate with many interior decoration styles or spaces. The lamp is minimalistic, but at the same time fullfills all categories and elements of the best scandinavian design.
