Playful Oiva Toikka ‘Mickey Mouse’ Art Glass Vase Model N529 for Nuutajärvi 1971

Designed by the renowned Oiva Toikka known for his colourful and peculiar designs, this Vase has Toikka written all over it. A perfect addition in to any home interior or a glass/design collection. Oiva Toikka (1931-2019) was a Finnish master glass designer and ceramist, working for Arabia Oy And Nuutajärven Lasitehdas. Toikka produced some of the most iconic designs in Finnish glass history. Known best for his variety of glass birds. His distinct style is very vibrant, colourful and playful. For his long standing career and efforts as a glass designer, he was recognized with the Pro- Finlandia Award, Kaj Franck- Award and the Prince Eugene- Medal.
