Alvar Aalto stool model X602, manufactured in Finland by Oy Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab back in the 1950s. A rare model, the X-leg stool is one of the simplest yet most brilliant designs by Alvar Aalto. Honey colored patinated bentwood legs with original leather padding, this stool shows clear signs of wear consistent with age and use. But as in life this wear and tare only adds character. In our opinion this sort of vintage patina is simply priceless. As the stool continues to stand the test of time, it shows the quality and attention to detail, that all Alvar Aalto works have. This stool is in absolutely original condition.
