Rare Gunnel Nyman Brass & Rattan Floor Lamp Model No. 62043 by Idman

A rare and beautiful floor lamp in brass (rattan on the stem) and rattan shade, designed by Gunnel Nyman and manufactured by Idman. This was often mistaken for a Tynell due to very little documentation, but as the Design Museum recently aquired and published G. Nyman archives, it was established that this and a few more models from Idman catalogues were designed by Nyman and produced only by Idman. The lamp is in good condition and has beautiful vintage patina. The brass parts were polished at some point and the rattan shade renewed.
