Scandinavian Space Age Modernist Brass Chandelier, 1970s

1680,00 €

A striking Space Age chandelier in brass and textured acrylic. Its sculptural construction features overlapping curved brass panels arranged around the central light source, with acrylic sections adding texture and a warm golden tone. The stepped composition gives the lamp a strong architectural presence, with an interesting interplay of curves, reflections and light.

Suspended from a matching metal chain, the chandelier combines the richness of brass with the playful geometry of modernist lighting. The textured acrylic softens the light, while the surrounding brass surfaces reflect its warm glow. A beautiful focal point above a dining table, in an entrance hall or in a living room, equally suited to vintage and contemporary interiors.

Possibly designed by Svend Aage Holm or Werner Schou, although the designer and manufacturer have not been confirmed.

The brass surfaces display visible patina, scattered oxidation and surface marks, including wear to the ceiling canopy. These signs of age contribute to the chandelier’s vintage character. Please refer to the photographs for further condition details. The canopy is flat and does not necessarily cover exposed wirings.
