A beautiful and delicate Art Deco ceiling lamp, model 313/3, designed by Antti Hakkarainen in the 1930s. The model appears in the 1935 catalogue and showcases Hakkarainen’s refined sense of proportion and lightness. The lamp features a nickel-plated brass body with three stylized leaf-like motifs at the center, from which three elegant curved arms extend outward, each holding a blown glass shade in beautiful caramel colour. The combination of the restrained geometry and the warm toned shades gives the piece a quiet, poetic presence. A timeless example of Finnish Art Deco at its most understated — and a wonderful representation of Hakkarainen’s delicate design language.
