A beautiful pendant model 64-401 by Finnish designer Yki Nummi manufactured by Orno for Stockmann. The modernistic lamp features two perspex shades layered on top of each other and hanging by the cord and connected with brass parts. The shades give a calming shade of light and is suitable in areas that need down light directly while at the same time giving a lovely atmosphere all around. The lamp embodies the simplicity of Nummi’s design and his tendencies towards using geometrical shapes.
The lamp is in good condition with original patina on the brass parts. The perspex parts have some scratches due to friction between them consistent with age and use, but they hardly show. The lamp has the manufacturer’s labels worn out. They usually carry the text “Yki Nummi Design” Orno Stockmann.
