Hat Rack / Coat Hanger in Alvar Aalto Style, Birch, Finland 1950s

A beautiful functional coat hanger in THE STYLE of the model 109 hanger by Alvar Aalto. A versatile piece with a shelf in birch and features four metal hooks, a rod for hangers and a top rack for hats. These pieces appear on the market every once in a while and are made by a smaller Finnish cabinet maker around the Mid-century and are almost indistinguishable from the Aalto ones. Very well made. The shelf is in good original vintage condition with normal wear consistent with age and use. Some holes on the support triangles. Please see photos.
