Pair of Mauri Almari Wall Lamps Model 71032 in Full Brass, Idman 1950s

2720,00

A relatively rare pair of wall lamps by Finnish designer Mauri Almari model 71032 in full brass. This model was manufactured by Idman in the 1950s. It features a full brass body with a place for a tube shaped bulb, which is still available in the market these days. The screw is E27 (E26 in the US). Both lamps are in their original condition with a lovely patina and both are stamped.

Please note that the lamps will be shipped without the bulbs as the bulbs are not suitable for U.S. use. The bulbs need to be purchased seperately from the U.S.

Mauri Almari (1907-1973) was a prominent Finnish lighting designer at the Idman factory alongside Paavo Tynell, Gunnel Nyman and Maria Lindeman. He has numerous lamp designs and was the main designer alongside Lindeman after the acquisition of Taito.
