Pair of Modernist Brass Floor Lamps Model G 75, Eje Ahlgren, Bergboms 1960s-70s

7440,00

A beautifully preserved pair of brass floor lamps designed by Eje Ahlgren for Bergboms in the 1960s–1970s. Model G-075, with both lamps stamped, they showcase the quiet refinement that defines Swedish mid-century lighting. The polished dome shades give them a soft sculptural presence, while the slim vertical stems keep the design light and elegant. Each lamp is operated by a pull switch, offering a gentle, focused light that works equally well for reading or as warm ambient illumination.

The brass has developed an attractive, even patina that enriches the colour without diminishing the lamps’ brightness. Their restrained geometry allows them to blend naturally into a wide range of interiors, from Scandinavian and mid-century to contemporary and eclectic spaces. Placed beside an armchair, framing a sofa, or standing as a pair in a larger room, they bring height, symmetry and a sense of quiet sophistication.

Eje Ahlgren’s work for Bergboms is appreciated for its balance of simplicity, function and material warmth, and the G-075 is one of his most recognisable designs. This pair captures that ethos perfectly: timeless, understated and effortlessly refined.
